  • Step 1: Go to “Search” bar, type “CMD”, right-click “Command Prompt” and choose “Run as administrator”
  • Step 2: LCopy and paste the following commands and hit “Enter” after each of them.
    • ipconfig /flushdns
    • ipconfig /registerdns
    • ipconfig /release
    • ipconfig /renew
    • exit

Change Network Adapter Settings

To put it plainly, Network Adapter settings manage the network connection of Windows computers. Hence, if you mess up the settings, DHCP would act up and stop your PC from obtaining an IP automatically. 

  • Step 1: Open “Control Panel”, select “Network and Internet” and choose “Network and Sharing Center”. In Network and Sharing Center, locate “Change adapter settings” then click on it to see all network adapters.
  • Step 2: Look for your network adapter, right-click and hit Properties. Double-click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP4)”. That is going to open the Properties window. Select  “Obtain an IP address automatically”. Also, select “Obtain DNS server addresses automatically”. Lastly, hit that “OK” at the bottom to save the settings.

Disable Proxy 

Issues with proxy servers interfere with the network performance every now and then. Because of that, once it comes to the “’s server IP address could not be found” error, you should consider disabling proxy.

    • netsh Winsock reset
  • Step 2: Restart your PC. When the screen comes back on, go to “Command Prompt (Admin)”, type the following command and hit “Enter”
    • netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
  • Step 3: Restart the computer one more time
